Saurabh Jain's life reflects a repeatable model of transformation, where setbacks become structured training grounds.
01
Age eight
The loss
Lost his father at eight. Some days his mother could not even put food on the plate for him and his sister.
The choice
A mother chose her children
When the family asked her to remarry, she chose “अपने बच्चों की जिन्दगी बनानी है” (build her children’s life) over her own. That one sentence still drives him.
1991
₹200, and even that was borrowed
Moved from Haryana to a tiny Rajasthan village. Homework under a kerosene lamp, bullying, a language that wasn’t his, and a Hindi-medium government school from Class 1 to 12.
Childhood
₹5 a day at a dhaba
While other children played, he served tables at his uncle’s dhaba. Small hands, heavy plates. That is where his hunger to rise was born.
College
Awakening on stage
Went from a painfully shy student to Science Faculty President and Student of the Year, discovering public speaking as his life force.
MBA
Academic reinvention
Failed three papers in the first year. Responded with radical discipline, cleared every subject, topped the second year and emerged as a rank-holder.
2003 to 2015
From medical rep to State Head
Started on a salary too small to live on: basic dharamshalas, one meal skipped a day, kilometres on foot. Twelve years later he was MSD Rajasthan State Head. Then he walked away from it all.
2015 to 2017
Both startups collapse
He bet everything on two startups. Demonetisation hit one and Brexit hit the other, at the same time. From the ruins, he founded EnactraX in 2017.
2017 to 2022
Five years of debt
Bankruptcy and crushing debt. He could not pay his daughter’s school fee and had to move her from a private school to a government school.
The ICU
“You will not live a normal life”
After a brain haemorrhage, doctors said: no driving, never going anywhere alone, no speaking for long, lifelong medicines. Eleven months later he set his first non-stop speech world record.
The day doctors said “no more speaking”, he wrote this from his ICU bed
ज़िन्दगी, मैं फिर तैयार हूँ, तू कोई कमी मत छोड़ना मेरे मज़े लेने में,क्योंकि मैं कोई कसर नहीं छोड़ने वाला तेरे मज़े लेने में।
“Life, I am ready again. Don't hold back in testing me, because I won't hold back in living you.”
Saurabh Jain
Core belief
Transformation is not luck. It is a learnable, repeatable system.

Episode 02 · The Grind
Built, not born
Every capability he teaches today was earned one stage at a time, and he never stopped paying for the next one.
02
FoundationA Hindi-medium government school, Classes 1 to 12, studying under extreme scarcity. This is where the grit began.
Leadership emergenceIn college, the shy student found his voice on stage and began leading from the front.
MBA pivotThree failed papers in year one. Radical discipline turned them into a rank-holder's finish.
Corporate learning2003–2015Twelve years of sales, leadership and strategy academies at Aristo, Aventis, Baxter and MSD.
The startup test2015–2017He launched two startups. One lacked a scalable business model; the other lost its partnership when Brexit shook the market. Both taught him what no classroom could.
Founder, EnactraX2017–presentAfter every struggle, he built his own institute: EnactraX, a venture of Pragya. Today it trains teams across India and worldwide, while he keeps investing his own money and time in learning.

2018, 2022 and 2025: No bio break · No water · No food · No sleep · No rest
Verified record · check it yourself
Certified by World Records Book of India
Longest non-stop speech by an individual on varied topics: 30 consecutive hours. Birla Auditorium, Statue Circle, Jaipur, 9–10 November 2025, at the Jaipur Learning Festival. About 2.3 lakh words, at 130 to 140 words a minute.
At midnight all 1,300 seats were full, people sat on the floor and hundreds more waited outside. By 3 AM only about 350 remain. On stage, one man has been speaking for more than 25 hours: no water, no food, no sleep, never once sitting down, no notes and no slides. When the crowd thins and the voice breaks, no applause can carry you. Only self-belief and self-control did. He finished all 30 hours: about 2.3 lakh words, every one from memory.
Why science says it was impossible
No sleep
After just 24 hours awake, the brain performs as if it had a 0.10% blood alcohol level (CDC), more than three times India’s legal driving limit.
No notes
Sleep loss weakens the hippocampus, the brain’s memory centre. Every hour made recall harder, and he still spoke every word from memory.
No water
Vocal folds vibrate more than a hundred times a second. Without water, friction brings swelling, hoarseness and voice loss.
Never sat down
Standing for hours makes blood pool in the legs, causing swelling, dizziness and a real risk of fainting.
No food
The body’s quick-energy sugar stores run low within about a day, bringing weakness, shakiness and foggy thinking.
No toilet break
Holding urine for hours overstretches the bladder and strains the kidneys. He held on for all 30 hours.
This was an extreme feat built on years of training. Please don’t attempt it.
The system behind the record
Told to live small, he decided to speak non-stop. A decision without a system is just a wish, so he rebuilt his whole life around one goal.
9:30 PM to 1:30 AMAsleep by 9:30, awake at 1:30, for years
Two meals a dayAnything other than water counted as a meal
Zero junkNo sugar, no fried food, no junk food
Physical trainingBuilt the stamina to stand for 30 hours
SilencePractised for hours at a stretch
Brain trainingMemory sharpened to hold 30 hours of speech
The price: family weddings, festivals, evenings with friends, favourite sweets. Every “no” to comfort was a “yes” to the record.
Hour 31 · His mother’s words
“मुझे मेरी तपस्या का फल मिल गया, और मेरे बेटे को उसकी मेहनत का।”
“I have received the fruit of my sacrifice, and my son, the fruit of his hard work.”
Decades after she chose her children over her own life, her sacrifice was repaid on one stage.
What this means for your team
The discipline that held 30 hours is exactly what he trains.
Self-discipline is a system, not a mood. Your people learn to build habits that hold under pressure.
Focus and memory can be trained. The same brain training that held 30 hours of speech, adapted for work.
Self-belief when the room empties. For targets, setbacks and the hardest hour of the quarter.
